The Villa
The Canopy is a thoughtfully restored three-bedroom bungalow, with space for up to five guests. Set within six acres of private hillside forest, it offers a rare kind of immersion: a place where you can be surrounded by nature without straying far from the coast. Every room opens up to forest views, vaulted ceilings offer space to exhale, and hand-carved details whisper stories of the past.
The master bedroom features a large picture window—a frame for the jungle outside. The living space flows from a cosy snug by night to an open, breezy lounge by day. On the front veranda, you’ll find yourself eye-level with the treetops, perfect for slow breakfasts, sunset drinks, or just watching the birds come and go.
And when it’s time to cool down, the saltwater infinity pool awaits, looking out across the hills, with nothing but green in sight.
At The Canopy, nature is your neighbour. Mornings begin with birdsong and the rustle of trees, afternoons slow down with the warmth of the forest air, and evenings settle in under firefly skies. It’s quiet here, but never still—a place where time expands, and there’s no pressure to fill it.
The villa sits at the heart of six wild, green acres—land we’re slowly reforesting. You’ll find walking paths that lead to shaded clearings and quiet lookouts, birds that return each day, and a rhythm that’s entirely your own. Some guests rise early for swims and birdwatching. Others stay still, soaking in the view with coffee in hand.
Meals are home-cooked, simple and local—made fresh each day by our villa manager if you wish. Spring water runs through the taps, and bicycles are on hand if you want to explore the village. There’s no agenda here—only space to rest, reconnect, and feel held by the land.
